Marlan Holland

Reverse Mortgage Originator

Marlan grew up in Pomona, California and graduated from Pomona High School with the Class of 1954.   He attended Mount San Antonio College and then the University of Oregon on a football scholarship.  His lucky timing landed him on a Rose Bowl team.  He later graduated with a B.A. Degree in Economics.

During the sixties, he worked at KEZI-TV in Eugene, announcing, directing and producing programs and commercials.  After eight years, he left his position as Program Director in search of sunshine and greener pastures.

In the seventies and eighties, he was active in the real estate loan business in Orange and Los Angeles Counties.

When interest rates approached 20% and the real estate “bubble” of that era was about to burst, he accepted his brother-in-law’s invitation to join him in his international medical products business.

The Holland family moved to Atascadero in the early 90′s and Marlan kept busy designing and marketing orthotic devices for the treatment of contractures in the elderly.

In 2003, the San Simeon earthquake struck and seriously damaged their home.  Marlan took that natural disaster as a wake-up call, and returned to the loan business with an eye toward helping other seniors.

He earned his National Reverse Mortgage Loan Advisor Certification and now specializes in the origination of Reverse Mortgages.

CERTIFICATION:
Certified National Reverse Mortgage Loan Advisor, NMLS#255581, CA DRE#01795145.
